Whenever i am doing press ups or something of a similar motion, theres a disturbing and very definite crack in my elbow. If i put my fingers on my elbow joint i can feel are sharp jolt as i bend it backward and forward - whats going on guys and is it anything to be worried about?! :S

Sounds like arthritis to me.

It's really not something to worry about. Everyone has some cracking and creaking of joints and it changes frequently. It may be you've overused your elbow and strained the tendon a bit. Take it easy if you're doing any repetitive motions. Ibuprofen can help and try a hot or cold compress. It should be fine. If you're doing press ups place your hand on the floor and try to make sure the bone in the base of each finger is contacting the floor and then lean into the hand. There are a lot of bones in your hand and wrist and they can grind against each other. Getting the weight into the bones first helps align them properly.

it might not be anything but id get it checked i had the same 4 almost 10 yrs and it turned out i had arthritis since i was 14 im 24 now and in the winter i can barley move if urs is worse in cold weather id definatley get it checked

i think you may be working to much if you havent warmed up before doing these excercises they may have caused to make your joints to rub agaisnt eachother, i had that before in teh ankle but thas cz i ran all day xD, you should see your doctor cuz it can turn out serious like authoritis or something :S

you need some of the joint pills to rebuild some of the cartilage
