Not blow it up, but its possible to go to the BIOS and make the computer heat by doing certain things and turn off the fan .... might melt some of the cards. possibly even smoke....
.....An powerful energy surge might be powerful enough to maybe make it "blow up" but there's no way to cause that via computer, let alone via virus....

It cant do physical harm, what it can do is all software program based.
It can however set your processor to run at 100%, therefore making it work to its limit, when your fans cant cope, the PC would overheat and then die on you.
Explain the problems a bit more may be someone can help

lol...well yes it is in a manner of speaking you can make a computer "blow up"there are viruses that will make parts of your computer overheat and eventually fry. kid next door...not likely. government mabey lol

Not any longer.... there use to be one, but ti won't work on any computer made from 85 on up.....god I loved that virus....

No, it can erase all your data and hard disk but it doesn't blow up maybe you have a bad electric plug.
