August, because i spend quality time with my kids, the sun is normally out so most people are happier (except for the ones who moan all year round, its always too hot or cold for them), there is a lot of fun activities to attend (barbeques, parks, carnivals, e.t.c.) And its the start of football season.
oh yeah and my birthday normally falls on the bank holiday weekend, whoops sorry had to get that in

April - because everything is coming back to life after long, cold, winters. It's wonderful to see the trees budding out, and the tulips and daffodils peeking out of the ground. It's like a rebirth every year.
