You want law abiding citizens to have guns, because you say criminals will always have guns. But you DON'T want law abiding citizens to have birth control, because you say it leads to promiscuity. Are law abiding citizens responsible enough to have guns but not birth control?

Though I know there are some devout types who tend to line up on the right side of the policial spectrum who are against birth control education (other than 'abstinence' being inflicted upon thier children), I am not aware of any that have a realistic hope of actually having birth control, itself, outlawed. So it's a contradiction that doesn't matter to a great many conservatives who want thier guns, and don't care (or want to know) what others are doing in thier own bedrooms.

Even so:

Citizens have an explicity Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. There is no such right to birth control - though the same 'implied right to privacy' that underpins Roe v Wade could certainly be argued to provide one. Thus, the contradiction could be resolved by the religious conservative by simply claiming adherence to the 'tight construction' aproach to interpreting the Constitution.
(Though, that might contradict other positions they hold...)

precise on yet in view that we are able to on no account have comprehensive gun administration, then we would desire to do a extra suitable history examine to purpose and controil who precisely gets to very own one and according to danger passing a gun risk-free practices path first in the past getting one or a carry enable ought to help. the only stable difficulty approximately lots of possessing weapons in case of a civil warfare with a Givernment is that the government has no concept who will use it and can fairly hit something. preparation and an huge history examine is fundamental right here yet nonetheless many understand they'd get a gun everywhere in recent times so no regulation or ban will ever be one hundred% valuable

what do guns and birth control have to do with each other??? That's like comparing a whore to a murderer. it's a poor comparison.

I support the right of law-abiding people to own handguns. AND I think anyone who wants birth control should be allowed to have it.

Only extreme fundamentalists dont want people to have birth control. On the contrary - I wish ALL women who werent in the act of trying to have a baby would be on birth control.

I wonder if even you know what on Earth you're babbling about.

Here's a hint, Skippy--birth control is wonderful--every sexually active woman who's not actively trying to conceive should be using some form of birth control. This being said, and considering the plethora of effective means available, why does someone of even your ilk think that abortion, even late term/partial birth, is an okey dokey form of birth control?

Sheeeesh.

Huh? I don't know any conservatives who are against birth control. They're against having to pay for it for others.

Where do you come up with this stuff?
