chernokov effect will happen
it is electromagnetic radiation emitted when a charged particle passes through an insulator at a speed greater than the speed of light in that medium. The characteristic "blue glow" of nuclear reactors is due to Cherenkov radiation. It is named after Soviet scientist Pavel Alekseyevich Cherenkov, the 1958 Nobel Prize winner who was the first to rigorously characterize it.
While relativity holds that the speed of light in a vacuum is a universal constant (c), the speed of light in a material may be significantly less than c. For example, the speed of light in water is only 0.75c. Matter can be accelerated beyond this speed during nuclear reactions and in particle accelerators. Cherenkov radiation results when a charged particle, most commonly an electron, exceeds the speed of light in a dielectric (electrically insulating) medium through which it passes.

According to the relativity theory, if an object is travelling faster than light, then time will go backward in the perspective of this object, it means things will happen in reverse. But the theory also says that it's not possible to accelerate an object from a speed lower than the speed of light, to a speed higher, so this object must "somehow" reach the speed without passing by the light speed point, unless if the object has been travelling faster than light since the beginning of the universe, which is more than likely to happen.

No object can ever be seen to move faster than light. It isn't the weakness of engines or anything like that. It is because time and space warp in such a way that all speeds seem to be slower than light.
This is relativity. You need to understand the concept of an observer. An observer is any person who measures anything. Speed is just distance divided by time, and in every day life distance and time are the same for all observers. That is that the man in the car going 100 MPH who measures the length of a mile and duration of an hour and gets the same result as the man standing still by the side of the road. But at really high speeds, this is no longer true. A person on a space ship going nearly the speed of light will measure time as passing much more slowly than the person standing still. And the person on the space ship measures a mile as being much shorter than the person standing still. The person standing still sees the space ship taking over 1,000 years to go to the a star 1,000 light years away. But the person on ship thinks he gets to the same star in only 1 year. But he measures his own speed as being less than the speed of light. How can he go 1,000 light years in 1 year without going 1,000 times the speed of light? His clocks run slow and light years are shorter for him.
I know, it is mind bending, but relativity really is not some simple thing that you can understand quickly and easily. It takes real effort.

Well...it is impossible to accelerate any object that has mass up to the speed of light. The object's mass will increase exponentially the faster it goes, right? At the speed of light, an object's mass would have to be infinite.
However, a massless particle COULD move faster than the speed of light according to the laws of quantum mechanics. One cannot simulaneously measure a particle's speed and exact location. You get one, or the other. This uncertainty principle could allow for a lot of things we think impossible to be possible.

Basically would happen a Cerenkov effect. But NO object moves beyond the speed of light. You should know that.

The only theoretical way that an object could be moved faster than light would be to shoot an object PERFECTLY between two orbiting black holes in a very tight orbit.
is it ACTUALLY moving faster than light?
no its just exploiting severe curvature of space time between to space time wells. In other words it would travel from point A to Point B at the speed of light but its path would be S shaped and thus it traveled faster than light per straightened path but in a plot measuring a straight line it would still be light speed. kinda weird but then again no object would survive the severe space/gravitational tidal forces that would be present. at least not in one piece.

Can't happen. No object can go faster than the speed of light, and only light itself can go that fast. A consequence of the Special Theory of Relativity.

If an object moves faster than the speed of light, it will not be visible to the naked or any other object. By far it is impossible but I guess there are chances.
I think Wal-mart sells one of them light speed jets.!!!!!!

erm... as long as something has mass, it can not commute at or previous the value of sunshine. in case you do not understand explanation why you are able to truly examine out some huge-unfold writings on Einstein's theories of particular and universal Relativity. i will recommend youtube for an excellent form of super shows, purely kind in Einstein and %. any tutor it is chop up into extra beneficial than 2 areas. The LHC will not get any merchandise with mass to the value of sunshine. the closest human beings can improve up debris to the value of sunshine is something like ninety 9.99995% of the value of sunshine. I even have study that the value of sunshine has been broken for massless gadgets. E = mc^2 is something you may additionally carry out a little internet study and locate out approximately (yet you wont quit listening to approximately it would desire to you pass to youtube and locate some television tutor on there.) The stylish Universe is yet another tutor you are able to examine out although by applying the tip it gets very technical for a television tutor, yet heavily properly well worth the attempt. in case you choose to be certain appropriate to the LHC there's a tutor on youtube approximately it too, From what I remember on the LHC they intend to seek to locate lines of the Higgs Boson by applying smashing debris at the same time at VERY close to to the value of sunshine. The HIggs boson is the reason (that has been theorized basically so a techniques) why all rely has mass, it is like a sea of power (or something) that all and sundry rely swims in and is given mass as a results of it. Fascinasting stuff! The LHC is likewise searching for hypothetical debris stated as Sparticles that are theorized in String concept to be a area of a symmetry of the universe time-commemorated as great symmetry. A Grand Unification theorized by applying Einstein over a million/2 a century in the past (yet another phraze which will sicken you by applying the time you have comprehensive observing each and every of the youtube movies - would desire to you prefer to realize this :p) (: happy looking :)
