Maybe they have a really dull life and need to live vicariously through others. Although I have to admit, it seems a wee bit twisted to derive pleasure from other people's pain.

People divulge what they want. For some, this is their only outlet. Who needs it? Ya got me! Maybe people that need to feel superior, or people that just want a laugh...
