COOL!!! You are ahead of your time but it IS the coming fashion for guys so go with it. First a KILT is a SKIRT by definition and since kilts are very expensive, heavy and look like "kilts" just go with a Denim Mini with pockets and belt provisions. From a distance they look like shorts and they make a great cover up for a swim suit (Lycra type) and can be worn anywhere this summer. Cooler than shorts. Yeah...don't be a jerk...wear undies. (You will be among the first to start the trend so it needs to be done right without upsetting the prudes). Denim goes with everything including tennis shoes so that is my suggestion. Ahhh not to worry...by far the majority of the chicks think a skirt on a guy is really nifty. A few idiot GUYS that are unsure of their own sexuality that are the only ones that might comment but it is unlikely. Another thing... gays don't wear skirts. It takes a REAL man to wear one. Good luck and hope you report back how it goes. Women have already robbed the entire men's side of the wardrobe and have gotten away with it. It's about time men pick up on some of the clothing women wear that makes sense.

In my opinion, this world would be lots better off if all types of clotyhs were for either sex. As far as skirts go, i own at least 30 so you might say im all for it. I have some in all lengths and colors but i like my black ones best. There has been studys do that say 86% of men who wear skirts are straight. Bottom line is that skirts are way comfortable and if guys want to wear one, we should be able to.

I wear denim skirts thigh to knee length, I would recommend them to guys who want to wear them in public because they blend in with anything with a polo shirt on top, hoodie or jacket as appropriate. Present as a male and make sure to shave your legs. Anything solid without flower or flashy or shocking or tiered designs usually works for me. I have made TONS of friends as a direct result of changing what a guy can wear in my local area...skirts make sense, they're comfortable cool and hose especially tights are very good for the circulation.

I've even been on many dates with a skirt and I can tell from experience, women love a guy with balls enough to wear a skirt out with them ! :"> Even high school and college males are now wearing skirts openly either as a statement on women's rights or for gender equality...they're really cool when you're in a crowd and blend in with what everyonen else is wearing ! Google "men in skirts" and you'll find THOUSANDS of men in skirts !

The world is changing...change with it or your kids will be left behind...

There's apparently a kilt known as a utili-kilt. They're incredibly masculine and look pretty comfortable. I think it's a great idea - only wish more guys did.
