oh my god. HOney...do you not know what a hysterectomy is? How could you let someone perform surgery on you and you didn't even know what is was for or what it does???
Wow, I am a bit shocked...especially if you say you have 3 children...you really should be more educated.
A hysterectomy is an operation to remove a woman's uterus (womb). The uterus is where a baby grows when a woman is pregnant. In some cases, the ovaries and fallopian tubes also are removed. So no, you cannot be or get pregnant after a major surgery like a hysterectomy.

If you had a hysterectomy then no you can not get pregnant. When you have a hysterectomy they remove the uterus (womb). There are 3 types of hysterectomy's subtotal hysterectomy only the upper part of the uterus is removed, but the cervix is not. Total (complete) which removes both the body of the uterus and the cervix. And finally radical which is reserved for serious disease such as cancer. The entire uterus and usually both tubes and ovaries as well as the pelvic lymph nodes are removed through the abdomen. Since cancer is unpredictable, other organs or parts of other systems are sometimes removed as well.
So unless they opened you up and forgot why or didnt actually do the procedure the chances of you getting pregant do not exist

Yes, it is SLIGHTLY possible to get pregnant after a partial hysterectomy (uterine removal, leaving the ovaries and tubes), but the pregnancy would most likely not be viable, as it could not implant properly (since the uterus is gone).
There have been only 12 reported cases of pregnancy following hysterectomy in the last 60 years.

It is physically impossible for you to get pregnant after a hysterectomy. You're Dr. should have explained all that to you before you had one...I don't mean to be rude, but if you are in your late 30's to early 40's you could just be experiencing peri-menopause. My Mom said it was similar to being pregnant. I would make an appointment with your Dr.

Welcome to the white panty club! I have had one also. If they left the ovaries you still ovulate which does make you feel funny at first. On the good side if they did leave the ovaries you are less likely to have hormone problems. The egg still comes out of the ovaries and the body takes care of it. After my hysterectomy I still felt cramping and some pain during that time of the month. It soon fades. You should talk to your doctor about it just to make sure there isn't anything else going on. Take care!

A hysterectomy is removal of the womb. It would be impossible to get pregnant afterwards. You could, however, experience 'false pregnancy' due to hormonal changes. Any number of reasons can cause that to happen, but you could actually lactate and get morning sickness, even though you're not pregnant.
Your doctor can check this and tell you more.

hysterectomy skill they took out her uterus (if she's telling the certainty o.O) so there is no place for the toddler to advance, except it is not right away surpassed off that she's have been given an ectopic being pregnant the place an egg emplants into the tubes that's fairly risky and desires to be surgically bumped off. I tremendously doubt she's prego however, i do no longer think of this is available if she has no uterus.

No because a hysterectomy is an operation to remove the woman's uterus (womb). The uterus is where a baby grows when a woman is pregnant. So without that you cannot get pregnant.
