My dad had the same choice once. We chose Washington! The weather, once you get over the rain, is not bad. It's really pretty, traffic is not nearly as bad as other big cities, great salmon!

Washington State is WAY better than North Carolina.

Washington State!

No extreme weather.
We have mountains, lakes, ocean, crowded cities (Seattle) to "never heard of that town/community" (Lakebay, WA). I've lived in the Puget Sound area my whole life and love it!!

As a Native North Carolinian, I'd say, "We're full. Try Washington."

;)

N.C. really is a nice place to live, however, even if it is starting to get a bit crowded by my standards.

NC. More sunshine, still has mountians, has beaches, has changes in weather from hot summers to cold winters and beautiful springs and falls. More affordable too. You could get more house for the money. Housing market is still booming south of Charlotte.
