Definitely a dog person here. Used to like cats, till they started crapping all over the house the filthy little beasts! (And no, it wasn't because of a dirty litter box either) They just got nasty. Cats are so aloof too, dogs love getting and giving attention.

3 dogs. ONly had a cat for a brief period of time. I know several 'cat' people who converted after getting dogs.

both-while owning and actually farming, we owned,over the 60 years, 4 dogs and probably,without exaggerating, nearly 200 cats if not more-they seemed to breed like rabbits in our huge barn and other of the 8 buildings but only 1 ever became our house cat, for 18 years. None of them, including Bambi, were any good mousers however but they loved the free room and board and we loved them in return.
