Would you ever go to a Swinger's Party?

I would go, but I would never bring my wife or girlfriend because I would get too jealous. I wouldn't mind swinging with someone else's wife or girlfriend though.

Since we have been to many, then of course our answer is yes. But reading through these answers, it seems there are still many misconceptions about swinger parties and the lifestyle in general.

First off, because everyone is concerned about safe sex, STDs are rare. No one wants to get anything and pass it on to their partner. In fact, in the 4 years we have been in the lifestyle, I have not once met anyone that has an STD. That's already less then the "normal" people we know.

Racer X pretty well covered the "single male" question. They are few and far between. Usually if a couple likes to play with an additional male, they bring them with. As far as getting jealous about your wife, and only you want to play, well, that's not swinging. The whole lifestyle is about sharing the experience. That's what's sexy and exciting!

And one last thing for Beeralt. Things such as condoms, lubes and toys are brought along to the party, or are already supplied. You aren't going to make a dime!

Ah, the old insecure male double standard: you'd like to have sex with someone else's wife, but you don't want anyone else to have sex with your wife.

Well, let me tell ya', you'd have a hard time getting into a swinger's party without your wife. It's called "partner swapping" for a reason, and without a partner you bring little, if nothing, to the table for a swinger couple. Single (or supposedly single) men are in great supply and very little demand in the swinger lifestyle for exactly the reason you elude to in your question.

To answer your question, though: Yes, we've been to many swinger parties and half the fun is watching my wife and knowing she is having a great time. For me to have a great time she has to have a great time, and visa-versa. If one of us isn't having a good time at a swinger party (or any party or night club or any other activity for that matter), neither of us is having a good time. We do everything as a couple, for us as a couple.

I think this is a concept that many have a hard time getting their mind around because it is very difficult to get past your personal insecurities and jealousy. BUT, at least you know and admit this about yourself. But you question still poses the double standard.

I would say I could just go to watch, but it would be difficult to watch without partaking, and I wouldn't cheat on my wife, so I guess I will just have to decline the invitation. Bummer, why is sin soooo enticing?
