For suppose ; If me and a dummy with the same physical charateristics that of me, are floating in space. Does the outcome of the events that follow differ in any way? If they do, isnt it purely because of consciousness ?

Thinking about the role of the observer in quantum theory, I can definitely see your point. There are new theories coming out about quantum consciousness. Have you read them? Reading about collapsing wave functions makes me dizzy though. I have to admit it is a little over my head.

Nope - because of the fact god as an entity extra complicated than a man or woman can not precede the universe. human beings are a fabricated from the by way of-products of stars - heavy factors - those combine to form molecules - which in turn reason RNA and thence DNA - which creates complicated beings with intelligence - God is meant to be a suitable intelligence - he can not predate the flaws which furnish upward thrust to intelligence. extra to the factor - he's no longer a 1st reason - because of the fact people who deny technology say the universe can not have began with out a 1st reason (in actual actuality it may) - yet then they assume God is the writer and yet he has no 1st reason. reason and result breaks down in physics and so there is not any would desire to intend a 1st reason - yet God might wish one and has no longer have been given one - and suggesting META god created him - purely implies a controversy advert infinitum. God solves no longer something approximately this universe and anybody who thinks their own ideals have something to do with the data as all of us understand them is a new child. they'd besides say Odin is in Valhalla and that lightning is Thor - or that the sunlight is pulled around the sky by way of Apollo's chariot. God is as lots a delusion as Odin and Apollo. he's a naivety with regard to the universe interior the comparable way Apollo became into with regard to the sunlight.

If the dummy has the same physical characteristics, then it is a copy of your body, complete with the same electrical and chemical interactions that make you alive.

If it is lacking one of these things, which we deem necessary for life, then it does not have the same physical characteristics as you.

In other words, no, we don't need to model "consciousness" in physics.

Consciousness is basically irrelevant. On an atomic scale, there are some subtleties of quantum mechanics that become involved, but on a macroscopic scale, these vanish.

Certainly not, there isn't even consensus that "consciousness" even exists. Many biologists believe that it is a trick of brain evolution. In any case it's an esoteric and philosophical argument, not science.

That's what the Grand Unified Theory is aiming at. Not only that, chemical basis of "consciousness" is also being explored.

The diffrence in their outcomes will be due to quantum probability, not due to conciousness.
