Most guys will party it up when the wife's away. It's OK as long as you weren't hitting on women or anything. Painting the cats up probably went to far. You'll probably pay for that for a while.

Well, I would definitly *not* do something that my spouse was sure not to like. Were you thinking she'd be angry with you, but that she hopefully wouldn't find out? That's kind of childish. If you honestly did not expect her reaction, then just apoligize to her and show her that you respect her feelings about it.
I don't see the big deal with drinking and playing pool (assuming that you weren't drinking and driving and you don't have a history of, say, going out with the guys in order to hit on pretty girls and hopefully bed one of them.) But what's with the cats? I had to read that a few times to get it. LOL give those poor felines a bath - after seeing all the bloody scratches, your wife is sure to feel a bit sorry for you.
I'm sure your wife just wants to feel as though she is secure in your relationship. Try to be understanding and reassure her. The more a guy insists that something is "no big deal", the more upset his wife is likely to get. She probably just wants to be reminded that you are totally committed to her.

When the paint wears off the poor cats she be speaking again. That is a totall riot though with the cats. You sound like you behaved yourself so she is fairly lucky, the cats however-not so lucky. She will come around, she may just wonder what else you did if your judgment allowed you to dye the pets.

If that is all you did I don't see anything wrong with it. I'm sure you used non-toxic paint right?
You may want to shave the kitty bald tonight. That should make her happy and then shave the cat tomorrow so it doesn't ingest any more of the paint.

As long as you didn't cheat then there definitely is nothing wrong with having a little fun. Maybe your wife is jealous that you had fun without her. By the way, with the cats, very patriotic but not so nice.

Some fun is good for you as long as it didn't involve hanky panky with other women.
Maybe her anger was due to the state of the house? U messed it big, u serve the time...BIG TIME!!! & the cat too... DO NOT mess with your wife's pet.

She will get over it..
If i came home and my husband was drunk off his a.s.s with my cats painted red, white, and blue, I would laugh and then i would join and make it a party:)

Maybe she didn't like the cats new coats, and wanted a different color scheme! Watch out for her retaliation next time you go out!

She could be mad with what you did to the cats. But she will get over it sooner or later. In the mean time get use to the coach.

that part about the cats....hilarious...anyways if your wife isnt talking to you than you should ask her...maybe she got some bad info from one of your friends, or maybe she really hates it when people dye cats a certain color.
