I went to a nude beach during my freshman year at college on a dare and discovered I loved it. The problem you'll face are judgmental people (who I found were mostly female) and guys who associate the nudist lifestyle with being a woman who's easy to hook-up with to have sex. In my case I was a weekend nudist until my junior year and only then managed to share an off-campus apartment with two other girls, one of which was also a nudist and the other really easy going with it.
I'm not going to get into the logistics of watching TV nude when your roommate and her boyfriend come bursting through the door other than saying "been there and I have empathy." Make darn sure you and your girlfriends are on the same personality page and don't be a bit surprised if that platonic guy friend who saw you prancing around the apartment nude starts suddenly ringing your cell phone panting like a puppy asking for a date. The attitude comes with them having a penis.
Being a college nudist takes maturity and just logically thinking all relationships and actions to a safe conclusion. Heck if I did it and survived you can too!

Being a nudist is certainly your right however you need to exercise that right on your OWN property. As much as you like being nude I promise you most of us do not like having to see it. Having seen photos of nudist colonies I can only say ICK..I am not a prude, but anyone that has seen the Seinfeld episode in which he dates a female who is a nudist knows exactly what I am saying.
The nude human body is not...it's just not something we want to see about normal everyday chores like vaccuming or cleaning the toilet. Please do the dorm a favor and practice your nudity where no one else has to see it..please. There is a REASON humans invented clothing.
Unless you love someone or are watching airbrushed porn stars grunt and moan, most nude humans are NOT viewer friendly. So be kind to your dorm mates and refrain from sharing that which is best kept under cotton.

Do what you want in your room. If your roommate is uncomfortable about it you'll have to acquiesce and cover up - as you will if she's OK with it and has a boyfriend in for a visit. Be prepared for a damaged reputation because you nudist lifestyle will be considered as having "a loose morality". Guys will think you're "easy". But, hey, that's up to you. I admire your concern for how others might react. Be prepared for a lot of guys to hang out in front of your door waiting for it to open.

Melinda, you will offend others (not me) and probably get into trouble. The others are those that 1) feel shame in their bodies, 2) feel nudity is immoral or 3) would have to give up buying clothes. Your much beloved lifestyle would have to be tempered a bit--don't ever give it up though.

Well its kinda up to the house rules at dorms you might get kicked out for indecency or your parents contacted, but
being behind a closed door you can be free and nude as you want as long as roommate is OK with seeing you nude or her BF is cool with it

I can't imagine any college would allow you to practice nudity on their premises. But if this is a serious question, it's the school administration you should be asking, not us.

yes, I believe that they have the right to do what they want as long as they aren't in public orbreaking the law, in which case they should be beaten.
