... like Barack Osama?

Do they get dumber if they have more experience than that?

Lack of experience is never a plus in any job. Shows how desperate the Dems are.

I'd go farther than Dave, above. Disqualify anyone that ever held a job as a government bureaucrat or was elected to any government position, and pick a name at random from the tax rolls or phone books.

We couldn't do worse, could we?

On the more serious side, it's not about experience, it's about Principle and Character. It's pretty clear those are sorely lacking among the current crop of Democrats, particularly Clinton and Edwards.

Their calling him a top democrat to increase his chances for being elected President. If they said he was a freshman folks wouldn't give him a second glance. The dems likely believe that since he is so new to the game he has less baggage to bring into the race. It doesn't mean he is actually qualified to lead.
Later days and good question.

Two years in the U.S. Senate (most of which has been spent campaigning) and a few years as a back bencher in the Illinois Legislature and apparently you're qualified to be commander-in-chief.

Funbags ~ I'm not sure why you call George W. Bush "dumb". He made better grades at Yale than John D-Student Kerry. Al Gore got kicked out of Seminary School at Harvard and quit Vanderbilt law school as well.

Do you really think we should keep these career politicians in office? Look at the mess they've all made in this country, mostly by being career politicians. How about we vote someone in that isn't one? Maybe, since he's only been a politician a short time he hasn't had his labotomy yet. Politicians are a lot like lawyers, 99% give the rest a bad name.

YES

Take Jesus as a good example. His ministry and works took place over 3 years of time.

Sure Jesus was a liberal and not a democrat; but the rule of 3 years still applies

He doesn't have what it takes to be nominated. All the money he's gotten is going all for nothing. It's going to be Hillary. Then America will be dumb enough to elect her... So we can be assured the economy will start to slip away yet again... America will be weak again... I think I may move to Canada!!!
