I answered this question quite a few times over before, but here I start yet again, for something good might come out of it. The question in general demands an explanation, even when it is clear that there none available. Or on the other hand, the word 'why' is exclaims upon viewing things that fascinate the mind. In simple words, the questions headed by 'why' are either natural outcries of protest, or they are expression of human sense of sheer wonder.

The atmosphere that the word 'why' creates is that of non-acceptance in any case of some status quo, or that of disagreement or disbelief upon some matter. This is why there is only one syllable in the word and that so stretchable that any amount of 'why' can be let out of mouth without have to have any trick of the tongue involved. This is great a word,we should use it more often. It makes the presence of the speaker known in a place or a situation.

To me The Scream (Skrik, 1893) – an impressionist painting by Edvard Munch – is a fully-fledged expression of 'why' more than it can be that of horror. The ghostly figure with gaping open mouth in a public place is in fact a human symbol for 'why' frozen still in time for ages. The painting has all the reasons to cream now, as it was eventually stolen from the Munch museum Oslo by art thieves. They say that even when it was being stolen the painting kept asking just one question – why? As it does even today, even though it has been recovered.

Sometimes a fluke can seem to you like something remarkable, just imagine a team that does not loose at the finals everytime they make it to the final. People "believe" that this team can win once they are in the final but they are wrong as the game wholly depends on how the teams play.
And even if that team does win it does not mean that team will win in every final, a time will come when this team too will loose.
Remember, When a fluke becomes a streak it takes a belief to beliieve the thing that you believe is true. simple as that.

There should be no 'why' because 'why' conveys insistence on something that is not required to know because if it were one would never ask 'why'.
I hope this helps u in someway because it is not possible to explain a question that aks so little.

The answer necessarily depends upon who asks.

Mother. Because she said so.

Father. Because his past experience suggests that my choice is limited to obedience or a swift kick in the rear end.

Child. Because I said so.

Teacher. Because my grade and, more crucially, my ability to finagle a better grade, depends on it.

Best friend. Because he's buying this time!

Plumber. Because...my wife...thought she could fix it herself. Of course, I tried to tell her, but she wouldn't listen!

My boss. Because I want to impress him for reasons that occasionally shame me into no adequate explanation.

Girlfriend. Because I want to impress her for reasons that need no explanation.

Fiancee. Because I want to impress her parents for reasons that I cannot explain.

Wife. Because she said so.

'Indeed' would be a good answer as well. Or simply 'Why' again... I mean if someone wants to know why, you have a right to ask why they want to know why. 'Because' and 'Why not' are the obvious answers, it's time to get a bit more creative.
