I too share the idea of "lifeboat" politics and isolationism. We should never tell others how to live until we've cleaned up our own yard, it is as simple as that, really.

How are we not taken care of? I beleive we are taken care of every day and the people who aren't taken care of .....have every opportunity to go and make something of themselves. I think you are broaching the victims mentality here. We live in the best country in the world. We are indeed spoiled brats. we should be grateful for what we have.
