Try unplugging your router for five minutes, but shut the computer down first. Plug it back on and wait for the adsl light to come on , which should then stay on cuz it has to be a constant light. This should reset your router and your comp should be ok then.
Sometimes my pages won't come up, so i turn the router off and it's ok after that. Give it a go first, try illiminate things one by one.

When you say your IE pages won't show do you mean you're online but you get a page that says that this page cannot be shown or do you get a dialogue box saying that you're not connected? If it's a simple matter of Internet Explorer not being able to display webpages and that there is a problem with the FTP ports on your computer then you simply need to allow internet access to Internet Explorer. There is no need to to go looking for these ports as they are meerly a part of the router's firmware and not something to mess with unless you seriously know your stuff. To allow your browser access to the internet simply open up 'Control Panel' and click on 'Internet Options'. From the dialogue window which appears click the 'Connections' tab and then 'LAN settings' button at the bottom. In the dialouge box which then appears check the 'Automatically detect proxy' box if it isn't already checked then click on 'okay'. Close all open windows and try going online. If the problem persists then your router is at fault.

Try going to start menu, run, type cmd, press enter. From the command line type 'ping' + an ip address. Example if your routers ip address is 192.168.0.1 type ping 192.168.0.1 to see if you can connect to the router. If this works, try pinging a websites IP address.

192.168.239.132 is Microsoft's website. Try this, if it works could be another issue.

Are you sure your wireless router / adaptor is connected and setup up correctly? You might be getting a good signal, but if it's not setup right then it's broadcasting nothing.
