I guess some people are just eithe very disrepectful types of people which are the tyoes that I try to avoid or they are just smart @sses who are know it all types. Anyway some people like certain types of answers.

I've often wondered the same thing. There are times I spend some time on an answer, and by the time I post it, it's burried under answers that are only a few words long, and not really answering the question at all. But I guess there is nothing I can do about it.

I have experienced this myself, I believe that some of those asking/answering questions are not really out for a serious answer, they are just upping their points - it is a shame, it goes against the true reason for this community and forum.

You are exactly right. Everybody likes to have a say about nasty things but when it comes to formulating well-thought out answers and questions the vast majority of people shun them. C'est la vie.

A well thought out answer is decent by itself. It is the disrespectful asker we try to touch by loving words and ..reform him into a kind person. Naive? Maybe....

I think it is like the rest of society that is caught up in the malaise of liking to hear bad news because it makes better print than good news or at least follows along the same line of thinking.

Because people are more followers than leaders and just love watching others hurt! they are afraid to be nice cause then they would be considered a weakling so they play follow the leader and be mean to fit in! SAD!!!!!!!

because most disrespectful answers are usually people making jokes of things which are usually funny, so that's why they get more love. :)

we here in the p/s section of the y/a family tend to lean toward the silly side...
they are much more serious elsewhere
