This is the educational mindset that grips all schools today. Its no longer involved in education but instead in indoctrination. Evolutionists are indoctrinating our entire generation in the false belief that there is no God and that we are simply animals evolved from slimy algae.

As a science teacher, I always made sure that the students knew what my personal beliefs are... that there is a lot of proof for the theory of evolution and that, if evolution happened, it is such an amazing and beautiful process that you can not deny that there is an all powerful God who orchestrated the creation of the world and all that is in it.

I think that your statement is true for some teachers. But, I also think that the opposite is true... strict Creationists are indoctrinating our entire generation in the false belief that all science is a lie and should not be believed.

Your statement is false. Evolutionists generally do not teach anything about God, one way or the other.

Within the context of biology, what answers do biologists rule out before they frame questions? The existence of God? I hardly think so. Charles Darwin, for example, was a student of theology. He began his great work on the presumption God was responsible for the origin of species, and there is no compelling evidence he ever fully abandoned that position. It is likely that for many years he may have considered the possibility divine guidance directed the course of evolution.

You mischaractization of biology education misses the mark in every respect. Indoctrination is what political groups and religions do. It is not standard science fare. And, in point of fact, some religions indoctrinate their followers against science, just as a few backwards fundamentalist christian groups do against biology. This practice gives religion a bad name, because any thoughtful, reflective, science oriented individual who encounters such backwards thinking is bound to be discouraged by religion in general.

There is considerable evidence for evolution, and evolution is the current scientific thinking.

..and "religionists" are indoctrinating our entire generation with false beliefs in G-d, without any evidence whatsoever, except for a book purported to have been written by Moses. Moses is known to have exaggerated the story of Noah (there was no worldwide flood), so he's an unreliable source.

Using creationism to explain how the many species on earth came to be is about as scientific as using magic to explain how an airplane flies. It amounts to no explanation at all.

To be accepted by the scientific community, an hypothesis must be accompanied by some sort of evidence and/or some logical argument as to why it should be accepted. Creationists provide neither.

An argment like "there is some aspect of evolution I can't figure out so that must mean creationism is correct" is like saying "I don't really understand how a jet engine works so it must be magic".

There ARE no answers until the question is stated.

Think about it, If I ask, "Name all the colors except green"
is that anti-intellectual or unscientific. I think not.

But, how the question is framed IS very important to in determining the value of the entire exercise. If one were to use the answers to my question to prove that green was not a color it would be of no value.

How does evolution rule out a GOD? Sound like a literal translation issue for you. Notice how God created everything in the same order as evolution predicts, so the question is how long is a day, 1,000,000,000 days?

Evolutionary theory has nothing to do with the origins of life. It only deals with changes that occur within populations over time.

In asking this question, you have invalidated your own incredibly weak argument by doing exactly what you're railing against: eliminating answers before the question is asked. You have dismissed evolutionary theory from the get-go because you think it doesn't match your beliefs.

"false belief that there is no God"??

What are you talking about? Evolution has nothing to do with beliefs. It is about evidence and facts.

If there was some evidence for the existance of any god (Zues, Apollo, Mars, etc., etc.) it would be taught in shcool. Do you accept the existance of a sun god? If not, would you still want it to be taught in school?

Well, you certainly seem to have ruled out evolution by posting quotes from intelligent design websites, saying that there's no evidence for evolution, and otherwise wasting our time. I would agree that you are anti-intellectual, nice job!
