Ok, you need to start looking at Wiki now. You can't have people answer all your homework questions. You need to actually find out on your own so that you can learn and retain information.

If you have to choose only one of these, for #1, the climate, plant and animal life will be the most helpful information. Highest latitude measurement would also be helpful, as well as predator/prey types, but not as much as the other.

For #2, the best answer is A, but its very vague. There are at least 4 different types of water biomes (freshwater, wetlands, estuarine and marine) each of which is unique depending on where they are located; and the number of types of terrestrial biomes varies depending on who is describing them - the usual ones are Tundra, Taiga (Boreal Forest), Temperate Forest (which can be subdivided into temperate deciduous forest and temperate rain forest), Grasslands (which can be sub-divided into prairie, savannah, steppe and pampas), Tropical Forest (which can be divided into rain forest and seasonal forest), Desert (warm and cold desert) as well as Chaparral (mediterranean-type climate). To say that any one biome is more complex than another is misleading, because in nature, nothing is really simple even if it looks that way.

Sounds to me like you're having some trouble understanding what a 'biome' is. One of the best ways to find out is simply to do a google on the term 'biome'. You should get lots of hits, and the Wikipedia entry is reasonably clear and accurate. That should let you figure out the answer, which is always preferable to trusting that someone else is correct.

I'll help you with number 1, but only because I HATE "most helpful" questions.

I'd go with B. That tells you a whole lot of ver good information.

As for number 2, this one should be pretty easy to figure out.
