No, it's not the opinion of everyone in the Republican party. Some Republicans have more sense than that. The others, like you said, really have no idea how unamerican that is, or they don't care.

Surely you do not EXPECT everyone in the Republican party to even be on this site, much less read this question and least of all to ACTUALLY ANSWER IT. Now, just to inform you a little farther, I am NOT a Republican but I am an independent voter that HAS voted for the Republicans for the past 20 plus years. I am not saying you democrats can not disagree with his policies but I am saying that you should do it without the hateful name calling, lies, half-truths and innuendos that so many of you use. Talk about sounding unamerican!!!!! You are showing no respect for the OFFICE of your president when you call the president names and tell lies about him. As I say, anyone has the right to disagree with his policies but hatred is going a bit too far and even though you may THINK you are not working with our enemies, imagine the boost that each name and insult to the president gives them.

I don't believe the entire Republican party thinks that way. After all only 28% of Americans polled believe in Dubya and the job he is doing. Since the Republican party is about the same size as the Democratic party there must be a bunch of Republicans that do not agree with your assessment of them.
I think they are right on that count. Only a small group of very vocal ur-Fascist neocons would say such things. They wrap themselves in the Stars and Stripes and hold a cross but thier policies and beliefs are just the opposite of what they want people to believe they are. They are ruining America.

As a Republican, myself, I recognize there are other points of view than our President's. Even within our own party, we have differences of opinions. Some of us are questioning Bush's appointee for Attorney General as he is really making some questionable decisions that is making the President and our party look bad.
With that said, there is a right way and a wrong way to question the President's policies and there have been some mean-spirited opposition to the President's policies that I find outright unpatriotic. Some Democrats are trying to monkey around with the budget intended for our soldiers in the field. They should not be placed in the middle of a political debate and suffer for it. They are fulfilling their sworn obligations and should have our full support as long as our politicians keep them there.
On a personal observation, I'd like to bring up we have not had another attack on US soil since we liberated Iraq. I don't believe these terrorists are going away without a fight and they see Iraq as a pivotal battle. I believe there are some things we can be doing better over there but progress is being made and I believe it is making a difference.

No, I don't think all Republicans or other conservatives hold that opinion. But, I feel that it is so sad for all of humanity that there are still so many who cannot see the truth about Bush's involvement with the Illuminati. You see, while they have control of the money, and the entire mainstream media, and all the high level politicians, we have the numbers to defeat them, if enough of us would only wake up, and unite against them. They are afraid of our numbers, because they can only continue to forward their evil agenda, if we continue to cooperate, and allow it. That is why they will stop at nothing to keep the majority of us brainwashed and asleep at the wheel, so to speak. Those who refuse to look and listen and research and open their minds to the truth, are almost as dangerous to humanity as a whole, as the Illuminati themselves! *sm*

The republican party has to distance themselves from Bush Jr. if they are going to get anywhere in 08` The Republican party would love to have the Democrats keep coming after Bush that why the talking points will be "the Dems spent all this time and money on getting Bush and let the other issues go"

We need to be self critical in order for us to remain a democratic republic, even if that's only talk at this point, we need to go through the motions...anyone making a fuss over someone lampooning W for his incredible lack of leadership skills is doing a disservice, someone that digs deeper and makes informed statements about criminal activity in the executive branch is being a patriot... anyone that swears allegiance to a flag, and then blindly goes along with whatever the flavor of the day is, should watch out for the police state that they are helping to create...
sheer the sheep and a slay the bulls....

Anyone who doesnt agree with Bush's agenda is automatically Unamerican......
Which I think is sad considering one our God Given rights was free thought..so taking that into account, by Bush's standards wouldnt that be him taking away our freedom of free opinions? Or are we not allowed to have those anymore either?
Just because I disagree with him doesnt make me unamerican....it makes me a smarter american!

An opinion that every single person in the Republicxan party shares. Grow up, things are never that simple. There are disagreements among Republicans just like among Democrats.

Absolutely not. Most conservatives oppose one thing or another about President Bush. I will be the first to say that he is absolutly 180 degrees off on immigration...so is the majority of Washington.
I do not see how people like you say that we do not oppose issues of the president. Even conservative commentators oppose different issues of the president.
Now, show me one liberal commentator who will not try to make a liberal look good. They will even talk highly about one liberal, then talk highly about another liberal with a different opinion of the same topic and try to make it sound like they are both right.
It is funny how on these questions I am seeing a lot of liberals trying to push liberal traits like this one and like blaming victims for crimes onto republicans
