Pick a flat, level spot hopefuly in front of your garage door and park the truck about 20 feet away...technically, there you should be no items in the truck. tires should be properly inflated and a half tank of gas. Make two crosshair-like marks on the door or wall with tape that are the same height and side to side distance as your headlights and center them with the centerline of the truck. Turn on the lights and see how thy line up with the marks on low beam....the main portion of the light should be slightly below and to the right of the center of the crosshair marks. If not, adjust the lights with a long phillips screwdriver at the vertical or horizontal adjusters on the top and side of the headlight unit. Test drive at night and see how they look.

Yeah, I used to align them to my garage door, with a space between them, and the right one slightly lower.
