When do you suppose that liberal adults will look around at the younger people who support their ideas and think... Oh My GOD! What is wrong with me? Look at people who don't shower for days on end, wear birkenstocks (sp), tie themselves together in protest and a bunch of other whacky crazy things. When will liberal adults look around and say "wow, what am I doing having the same political philosophy as THEM?"

No offense, but that is a very shallow view of a huge group of people. The world is a vastly more complicated, diverse place than the news spots and propaganda would have you believe. The majority of democrats are people you would never guess were so-called "liberals" by the descriptions I've seen lately.

You actually see little of this. Instead you have an entire generation of people addicted to prescription pills. A huge number of people in their 20s are using Xanex (larger than many other age groups), ridilin and other drugs to be able to function in the society we're stuck in. Its Huxley's vision-the doctors give us drugs to be able to function in normal acceptable society. If not for these we might actually stand up and protest what is going on in this country.

Excuse me. When will your type stop trying to pigeon hole us in their warped vision of "liberal" Most of us do shower daily,I wouldn't wear Birkenstocks if they were given to me. Most of us hold jobs,raise families etc. It is this type of thinking that is making America weak. It is the land of the free and we want to keep it this way. We want clean air. We want no discrimination of race or religion. And a whole bunch of other issues that you are barely capable of understanding

When will conservative adults look around and see the younger people who support them--the ones who beat up the homeless, embezzle money, commit date-rape, call African Americans "*******," hire platoons of lawyers to keep them from paying taxes and serving time, neglect their children and chow down on prescription drugs?

THEM?
That's what WE were in the 60's and the 70's, when we brought the horrific and wasteful Viet Nam war to an end. We were the ones who stood in protests, burned down draft boards, refused to register for the draft, and who were shot at by American troops in places like Kent State for protesting the war.
They're wonderful and I am glad that I was once a part of their movement. We need more of it today - and far less of those who poodle-dog themselves along right behind Dumbya's right foot.

You paint with a wide brush. I would suggest using your brush as I wonder why would any young adult want to be a conservative? I guess the drug use, the exploitation of young kids for sexual favors and greed and corruption might be pinnacles of the conservative mantra but hopefully no young adult would aspire to fall so low.
