I think Myspace should go die in a hole. It takes the personal part out of everthing. Almost everybody does everything [contact wise] through Myspace. I've been broke up with, asked out, and got in a fight [I know, lame] through Myspace. It really sucks. And not many people actually use their blog...which is what it was created for. I miss the days of xanga.

I'm not crying over bad experiences. I'm just saying people are using it to say stuff that they should just tell you to your face. There are some things that I really do like about Myspace, but I think that it's taking the personality out of alot of stuff.

No, I have an account with myspace the only time I use it is to send my family pictures of my kids. I'm also Private. I only accept people that I know as friends. Yes some people use it to start fights and dumm ****. But I don't think it should be shut down for some people being childish on there those people profile should be delete. If you are having that many problems then you should report and change to privet if your not already.

Alright, people think myspace is so bad and horrible. But that is your little experience. You have had a bad time, and it is the people who ask you out, dump... etc. that are lame or what not. If it shut down that would be ruining everyone elses fun. so no it should not you are lame to ask that

well look its the Internet...myspace is part of it. The only thing i don't like when people asking how to unblock myspace web site in school. that is lame.
the problem that people always bring personal problem into cyberspace. they wouldn't do in real life.
if you don't like myspace go to different forum...the internet has millions of them.
don't know if myspace will be shut down...it still popular and people use it. but myspace has many kind of shitware

Xanga's still around you know. But they conformed to the networking as well, adding a profile feature and all the little goodies that come along with that.
I still enjoy my myspace, although i wish there werent so many spam friend requests...

Yes, I agree! It has all the little children crying for it! Most of my clients have had viruses and other unwanted programs on their computer due to MySpace. I think its a waste of time and a waste of bandwidth. Schools have blocked it and the military has even blocked it from their networks. I think it is a bad site that illegally uses music and other media without the copyright permission from the copyright owners.

I think Myspace will lose its attractiveness soon due to the fact they just introduced new copywrite software and alot of sites will start missing their things like songs, pictures and any materials that have a copywrite on them.
if anyone has a copywrite on any piece displayed on Myspace they can also request it be removed immediately.
Also Myspace has been talking about charging for music that you post to your site to cover the liscensing issues of the artist.
Myspace is owner by News Corp. and thanks to Rupert Murdock (Pres and Ceo) and his greed Myspace will soon enough cease to exist.
It isn't worth paying to have a page there.

If you mean it should be shut down for valid reasons such as the exploitation of minors then, yes. Or if not shut down there at least needs to be a better way of filtering younger members out and giving them restrictions on the site.
