The Radeon x300 is better. The equivalent nVidia card is the Geforce 6200. The Geforce FX 5200 was a crappy card even when being paired against the Radeon 9200.

x300 also has Direct X 9.0b support, Shader Model 2.0 support etc. Its a higher gen card than the 5200.

In truth though, both suck and won't be able to play any current games for anything.

The one with the highest number of pixel pipelines and the highest number for video ram--also pci express is faster if your motherboard supports it.
