A Chihuahua with a pink studded collar would be MUCH more effective - chihuahuas can be MEAN little guys! Can't you see them chewing on some gay dude's Prada shoes? That'd get any gay offender to stop right there - NO, NOT THE SHOES!!

Not real sure what your chance are of doing something through the police department. However I do know that some criminal justice advisory boards throughout the county often have spots for ex-offenders to serve on. These advisory boards are often made up of police, prosecutor's, defense attorneys, judges, probation and ex-offenders. The function of these boards is to talk about different programs or projects that may or may not work within the county. I would check with your local probation or community corrections department to inquire about a possible place on that board.
