The only way to look at this mathematically is to know simultaneously know the intelligence, gender, age, marital status, and marital fidelity of a large sample of people at once. Knowing each of these separately is not helpful. You have to know them all individually for many people.

What you'd be looking for to back up your theory is:

smart man/smart woman pairs being happier than the other groups

smart man/dumb woman pairs having a higher incidence of infidelity than the other groups

dumb man/smart woman pairs having a higher marriage rate than the other groups

dumb man/dumb woman pairs having a higher pregnancy rate than the other groups

If you could find several thousand people willing to take a survey, you could do this. However, rating people by intelligence, is not an exact science by any means. You can design a test for which some people will do better than others, but proving this a measure of intelligence and not just a measure of how good they are at that particularly test is nearly impossible. The reason for this is that intelligence is not defined clearly.

#2 and #3 are mostly only true for people who base their lives around what they see in TV sitcoms. But...

Notice that if we subtract the second from the frist, we get
(sm + sw) - (sm - dw) = romance - affair
sw - dw = romance - affair
sw = dw + romance - affair

And the fourth from the third gives:
sw = dw + marriage - knockup

Subtract these two and rerrange, and you get
affair + marriage - knockup = romance

In other words, romance comes from sex and some degree of commitment, but without the pregnancy.

Likewise, subtracting the third from the first gives:
sm = dm + romance - marriage

The fourth from the second gives:
sm = dm + affair - knockup

And subtracting these gives the same.

Who's gonna judge who's dumb and who's not.
Falacies are not mathmatics. They are just created to derogate human beings.
