Yes, the 2nd season is over.
I found this : There is much speculation that "Ghost Whisperer" will return for a third season. After the season one finale, John Gray, the show's creator, signed a two year contract with CBS, which would all but guarantee a third season. John Gray has also stated that in the show's third season it will get much sexier.
