can i use led for illuminating my work space instead of cfl which i use now?

ie:i use 15w cfl to lightup my room ,can i use a led kind of light to get the same lumens ,then will it effect my eyes .

Yes, you can.
If you use about 25 'Ultra bright' LEDs you can replace your 15 W cfl, and it will take only 4-5W from mains, try it and see the magic.

As of right now LED technology is rather expensive. I read an article that the costs will go down for consumers by next year. CFL are still more effecient than Incandescent anyways.
