CSS does not make a background, it is simply a directive that specifies what image to use for the background image. Whether it is "cool" or not is entirely dependent on the image, not the CSS.

Ditto Rex M above! CSS just tells where to fetch a background! (As for, where you might find some backgrounds to specify with your CSS, you might be willing to pay for the CD offered by www.grsites.com...it's a lil' inexpensive goober I bought and use over and over. But somebody here'll probably guide you toward some free stuff too...)
