If your school is scheduled to include 3 full semesters, it makes sense that many people would only do two of them each year, but that those who wanted to finish more quickly could do all three. I can't imagine that everyone goes year round to school, since many people will need time off during the year to make enough money to get through the next year.

My answer to your questions depends upon where you are. If you are finishing your education after one more semester, I would recommend that you go ahead and finish up before taking a break, rather than postponing it, unless you are so stressed out that you cannot go any further right now. If you still have two or three years to go, talk to your advisor first, but I think that taking time off makes sense.

Continue until you graduate. Just get it over with because once you take a break you won't want to go back.

Take a break if you are that stressed! You run the risk of doing poorly if you try to get thru.

well, you don't get more than a couple of weeks usually from a regular job. If you can make good money, doing something you love, I say go for it. Otherwise, it is not only knowledge training for the future, but discipline, stress handling, and longevity training for future employment.
