Any of my friends sexuality has no affect on my own. You can't "catch" sexual orientation. You just treat the person as you always have, like a person.

I would not question my own sexuality. That is so because i went through the phase of discovering my own sexuality. It was once upon a time i was 13 and i was figuring out whether i was attracted to guys, female's or both. It turned out that i am straight. I could not question my sexuality over again because it's a tough thought since i am Catholic. If she told me she was gay i would accept her with open arms and i wouldn't shun her nor see her differently.

If you aren't sexually attracted members of the same sex, there is no reason for you to question your own sexuality. The fact that you enjoyed hanging out with a gay person doesn't mean you're gay too. We can be a lot of fun, and just enjoying our company doesn't mean you're hot for one of us. It's OK.

Why would you do that? Is it that the fact that knowing that your friend is into girls has opened up a possibility to you that you've been avoiding thinking about until now? Most of us have the potential of being turned on by someone of the sex opposite to that which usually turns us on, under the right circumstances and with the right person. Nothing to worry about, you didn't suddenly become a lesbian, except maybe where you newly available friend is concerned. Variety is the spice of life, they say. The question is, will you still like yourself in the morning?

If a friend told me she was gay I don't think that would have me questioning my own sexuality! Unless of course you think that you could have more than just a friendship with this friend. I am just not to sure on this one!

No especially if I had other friends who were straight . (Male Female). I would respect him/her for her choice. In fact growing up I had a male friend who was gay and none of us in the group ever question our own sexuality we just accepted him for who he was.

Someone else being gay shouldn't make you question your sexuality unless you have attractions to them. The best thing you can do is continue being friends and be supportive of her coming out to you.

Why would you need to question your own sexuality

I've had friends who've come to me before and I've never actually questioned my sexuality when they did. In fact, it's only recently that I've started to question my sexuality.
