The street where I live has 17 poles, (14 of which have lights on the top) so the answer would be I suppose 17 multiplied by the number of streets in England. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only figure I can find is http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/5273356.stm which says that 250,000 Polish people are registered as migrant workers in the UK as of 2006. Since some will have families with them, and there will be other Polish people from before they joined the EU, the real figure is probably higher than that.

good question.. they put out figures of 200.000 but thats crap
theres that many in the northwest alone!!
they dont know and cant count them all.. the dont report to anyone its a free for all!!
try watching at liverpool airport see how many coming in...
