the democrats are willing to sacrifice everything in order to win the whitehouse.

how do we overcome their insistence that our efforts abroad are for naught? how do we stabilize iraq when they claim it cannot be done? how do we maintain morale when they tell us we should have none? how do we gain world respect when they openly side with our enemies?

We beat them into submission with our VOTES !!

At Pearl Harbor, after the Japanese successful sneak attack, their commander was asked by a junior officer if he thought the attack was a great success . And he replied . . . " I fear that we have only awoken a sleeping giant "
Well, guess what, right now the Democrats and their subversive acts are awakening another sleeping giant. .. . . The Republicans !!
VOTE and they'll see that we do out-number them !!

EDIT* - Just ignore the folks who resorted to things like calling you a loser and the one who told you to take a back seat . And especially the ones who call you divisive . The name caller is a jerk well-known to attack women . And the ones calling you divisive are scared that you would expose what their party is really like . These fools are so mind-bent that anyone who disagrees with their position is seen as divisive !!
Drive on dear lady, drive on !!!

Why is it that nobody can look beyond the military when they think of Iraq? Iraq's political agenda has equal bearing on the entire situation. Without the dems pushing Bush, he would have only had the surge and not pushed the Iraqi's to get their political house in order or made them stop protecting many of the insurgents. He would not have initiated the talks between Iraq's neighbors.

If they want our help militarily, they HAVE to do their part. General Patreas and Gates have stated that this war can't be won by military means alone. Why can't you hear it when they say it. The dems are doing a lot of good. Try looking at the whole situation.

We quit watching the media channels that seem to be biased and drop our subscriptions to news papers like The New York Times and maybe they will get the hint that we are tired of listening to the garbage they feed us.
We also write our troops let them know that we stand behind them.
I work at a Veterans Of Foreign War. Please know that all but one of the soldiers I have come in contact with believe in the cause and are proudly fighting.
We can't stop ignorant people from being brainwashed by the media and our Liberal Politicians, but we can do something to fight back.

It does look as if the Democrats are willing to lose the war to win the whitehouse. I'll give you that.

We win the war by turning our military loose and letting them do their jobs.

And we win the election by asking them their plan. And showing their lack of a plan to the country. Every way we can.

Because so far, the only plan I've seen is to secure our borders and withdraw our troops. Not one explanation of how that fights terrorism.

WE KEEP FIGHTING!!!! They want us to give in...they want to demoralize us...they want the world to join in on their pathetic treason!!! They have sold their souls to the devil!!...BOTH the democratic leaders and the media!! They are the worst of th worst to play political chess with OUR military!!...They have no problem destroying lives, careers, ANYONE who doesn't see the world through their pathetic eyes.....They make me sick and ashamed that our OWN countrymen could be this power hungry and selfish.....and people, believe me, I'm holding back!!

When are people going to realize that this type of war cannot be won. Vietnam was a failure and there was more direct confrontation than in Iraq. The British tried for 30 years to militarily defeat the IRA but simply couldn't get a handle on how to do it. What makes you think that Bush has an idea how to do it. His Surge is failing, the troops have no idea who the enemy is or where the next attack will come from and they have no way of stopping the two sides in iraq from in fighting.

You can't win this war.

I don't know... just reading your main question "how do we win when so many wish failure upon our own country?" are you referring to the Republicans? Because this is pretty much their motto.

Sorry you keep posting the feel good questions.. maybe you should take a back seat and let the people that don't have a heavy heart for Bush tackle this. How does someone with a heavy heart become Republican anyways?

To answer the rest of your questions in a nut shell. The experts and committees and even the rest of the world feels none of the above can be done. That is kind of why we are all sick of hearing "stay the course".

Good question. I would say an information campaign to educate people, but it will be almost impossible to counter the influence of the main stream media.

It's hard when so many including our own countrymen wish us to lose. But we will keep supporting our troops and letting them know we believe they can win.

I fear we may not be able to.

I, and many others, warned the American electorate what would happen if Congress went Democrat. But the voters spoke, whether they knew what they were voting for or not.

I fear for my country.
