OK.....What you are looking for is confirmation from the yahoo community that it is OK to harm yourself,using the theory that you are different to justify this.......STOP!!! NO WAY!!!! It is never OK to do harm to yourself!!!
But here is what I will tell you.
I know that you are having a hard time in life and its very hard to find outlets for your frustration.You are too smart to lash out at others,so you feel that the only way to express your consternation is through self mutilation..STOP IT!!!
i understand that noone knows how you feel...Unfortunately,you are part of a extremley small group of people who are unfortunate enough to be both physically beautiful,as well as very intelectually superior....You want peoplole to STOP appreciating your beauty and leave you alone about how smart you are,,you are too aware of these things and it drives you nuts every time someone brings them up.....News flash....people are sheep for the most part and will flock to those who are stronger,or smarter,or more beautiful than themselves,,,DEAL WITH IT....I'm sorry,that is just the way it is....you cannot make people think you are ugly,or stupid,no matter how hard you try....it is a futile endeavor and the only person you will hurt is yourself if you try...But heres what you can do.(this is where it gets fun).
Instead of trying to swim upriver,turn around and go with the current.Make yourself as beautiful as you can,,,show at every opportunity,how extremely smart you are,,bury yourself in studies and work,,learn a few new languages,,boost ypour position in life,any way you can,,,then sit back and reap the benifits.You are the kind of person that things come naturally to,like jobs or good grades,,so take advantage of that,,,go out and apply for a job that you wouldnt dream you could ever get,,,put all your mental resources into the endeavor and see what comes of it,,if you fail,try another,,,,,love yourself,,you are extremely special and there are not enough people in this world like you,,you just have to realize your potential......Have you ever wondered(probably everyday)why you understand things that others JUST DONT GET?Its because you were born to excell,,You have been given a precious gift,,,please dont waste it!!!if you like ,,you can check out my 360 blogs,,maybe you can find some inspiration there,,maybe not,,,,I am "olddanishbloodline"......please try to take care of yourself......Robert p.s. if you need to talk,or chat,,,please email me,or text me@ 321 289 9799...I would be happy to try and be a source of support for you.

Okay, first you all you are not psychic.

Second, based on those behaviors you are not psychotic.

Third, I think that the coping skills you do make a lot of sense.
People who cut themselves, bite etc. do so because it releases endorphins and relieves them of the psychological pain. Also if you are in distress in your thinking, banging your head may give your he relief of being able to think differently and get some of the psychological frustration out.

I would encourage you to make safe choices in your choices in coping could become a pattern for you rather then developing more adaptive coping skills like utilizing social supports, using your words, engaging in other activities to distract yourself, diary/journaling or things like meditation.

You are on a path that could become problematic, so next time you are in distress, try something else. It might work and you might feel better about it also, physically, emotionally and mentally.

You are not weird or psychic or psychotic but you are having a serious problem. I don't know if it is that you cannot cope with emotions or if this is how you get attention when you are upset. There are better ways. There are books on managing emotions. You can take classes at your local community mental health center or you can get professional counseling. I recommend you do this soon

I know of a person who does exactly what you mentioned you are doing when disturbed or upset. He gets psychiatric treatment. The only difference is that you are able to recognize and admit what you are doing and he can't. While you are still capable of recognizing this alarming trait of yours, I suggest you consult with a specialist that deals with problems like yours.

Yes, you're a little weird. But if you can acknowledge this, it means you're aware of what you're doing. If you can figure out why, then you can stop it. If you can't figure out why - you need to speak to someone who can help break it down for you. Good Luck.

Honey, were you abused as a child. Did you experience some sort of trauma. You need to explore this. Not only is your behavior not normal but it is not healthy.

Please do NOT for God's sake confuse psychic with psycho. People do this all too freakin' often. I am highly offended by it, as I am a contributor to the PDA (Psychic Discrimination Association)
