We recently moved up in the world and got DSL. We have it on our main computer. I have a laptop. Is there any way to have this on my computer - do I need to setup a "network"? If so - how do I do all of this?

Thanks
Annie

The best thing to do if you have a laptop ,is to get a WiFi router
and conect it to your Dsl so it gives you wire less internet

If your DSL router has multiple ethernet ports you can just plug your notebook into it with an additional CAT5 cable. In your network settings for the notebook just make sure TCP/IP is set to DHCP (automatically assign an IP address.)

If your DSL modem has additional ports then just connect it and you should work.

If the modem only has one port you should just get a router. You connect the router to the modem *internet/wan port and the connect both computers to the routers local ports and your set.
