Usually the two go hand in hand, but if I had to choose one in my "people", it would be honesty. If they were always honest, at least I'd know where I stand with them, and where they stand with me.

Good question, not sure, and I dont think you can have both because honest ppl can stab you in the back in order to be "honest" to themselves or others that are not "loyal" to you. Dishonest ppl can exhibit "loyalty" in constantly ripping you off or using you and you may not even realize it.

honesty , loyalty is not good for me , it makes me paranoid the other will leave or turn on me eventually .

Honesty, but keep in mind the two always go hand in hand, disloyal people can always be proven to be dishonest.

I would have to say honesty. I would have people that would tell me when I am messing up and make me see it.
Honesty is by far the better.
