There is no such "real" W32.Myzor.FK@yf virus. That warning is fake. It is a scam to attempt to get you to purchase a rogue malware removal product. The balloon about "You computer is infected", is always false, phony and fradulant. The actual trojan that has caused your problem is no doubt one of the hundreds (now in the thousands)of varients of what is commonly called "Zlob".

But your computer is indeed infected. This infection is called Smitfraud and it will give you phony scam virus warnings( and often redirect you to a site selling a bogus anti virus product), trying to sell you junk such asPest Capture, Pest Trap, Virus Burst, Spyware Quake and other non working anti virus apps.

Information and proceduresand a free removal tool for the removal of Smitfraud are here:

http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php

Most "All-Purpose" malware apps such as AVG, Norton, Spybot etc unforturnatly can not remove this vile pest called Smitfraud.

I have no idea what kind of software that "Yahoo 7" is, but it is doubtful that bit has anything to do with the Smitfraud infection.

Smitfraud usually gets installed when someone goes to view a video at a "not-so well-known" website. The website will say that a "special" codec is needed to view it, and asks to download it to you. If you allow the download, you will NOT be downloading a codec, you will actually download a trojan called Zlob. The moral is, never allow a website to download "stuff" unless it's a well known and respected site. And oh yeah, that video would have played just fine without that "special" codec! P2P downloads using programs such as Limewire have also been known to be infected with Smitfraud.

Good luck.

You didn't get Yahoo 7, you downloaded Internet Explorer 7 through Yahoo and got a mess. Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall IE7. Close the control panel and restart the computer and it will revert back to IE6. Then wait 6 months or longer for IE7 to be fixed before you do this again. There are simply too many problems with Internet Explorer 7.

If you are still getting popups and trojan and virus warnings, then run your antivirus and anti-spyware each on a full scan. If there is something there, it will find it so you can remove it.

There is no such thing as "yahoo 7", You are talking about IE7 and you need to remove the program and run your antiviurs. Your pc has been infected with a virus.

Norton is really garbage and has been for many years and keeps getting worse each and every year. Doubt if it will find anything, plus when you go to remove the program you are left with 375 fragments hidden all over you pc. Some are like glue to your files and others are hidden in the registry and in places where files are hidden.

You can run what is known as an "online scanner", direct from the servier. Here is Karpersky online scanner from Russia, rated # 1 in the world for virus detection.

Just follow the instruction on their webpage.
