remove ram from its slot then clean it with damp cloth. make sure its free of dust and its totally dry before returning it. goodluck

These beeps are telling you that there is a hardware device that is not working. It could be the Video card or possibly the ram. Open the side of your computer and make sure that the above mentioned items are correctly plugged into your board. Also take a look at the cpu cooler. It should be firmly attached and the fan should start turning the moment you turn your machine on. If this doesn't help, look up the beep codes for your motherboard/BIOS. They will tell you exactly which device isn't working.

If there are no beeping noises. This usually cancels out RAM. Because a faulty RAM would still allow the motherboard to enter POST, but it would fail emitting a beep error code. My first guess is an inadequate PSU/Faulty PSU. Second bet is the motherboard. IS there any error LED's lit ?

those beeping sounds are error codes,depending on how many and length of time, i believe dell has a list on there website to determine the error,as the post above me says,could be any of those.

your computer may not be reading from the hard drive. check the power supply to the hard disk. remove all other connections and clean and reinsert. check VGA card and remove it from your mother board. connect the monitor directly to the mother board monitor slot, if any. restart.

sounds like its not reading your hard drive. see if you can boot from a cd? could also be another hardware issue.
