To be honest it will be difficult to raise them large enough to be released into the tank using a breeder net. Once they are about 1" long, you could attempt to release them, but territorial problems will most likely occur between them and the other dolphin cichlids in the tank. Smaller than that and they would probably end up as food for the silver sharks.

It's practally impossible to raise baby fish in a tank with predetor species such as the sharks, so if you are interested in breeding the dolphin cichlids I would suggest finding a new home for the sharks. Then they babies can be left with the parents and have a far better chance of survival.

the previous 2 recommendations curiously did now no longer manage your question. i visit. a million pink devil, until eventually you purchase a new child, desires a thirty gallon to itself and can desire to kill distinctive fish. 2.I certainly have a single Midas Cichlid in a 30, he's finished grown, and has been revealed as between the main clever fish indoors the international. he's astonishing in a appropriate filtered 30, yet he won't enable something from goldfish to ability acquaintances in his tank. he does like plastic toys although. a million eco-friendly Terror can stay in a thirty. yet purely a million. 2 Parrot cichlids can stay in thirty gallon, in all threat for his or her total lives. yet that tank is then finished. a million Oscar in a thirty in a thirty is soliciting for trouble. this is going to outgrow the tank in cut back than a 300 and sixty 5 days until eventually you starve it. Zebras are African cichlids. you may desire to save some in a 30, yet you %. a great variety of rocks and ph too severe for any of the aabove mentionedspecies. a pair of Jewel cichlids might desire to prefer to stay in a 30 with room to spare. you're able to have the means to prefer to in all threat upload a million or 2 better fish. (they might get alongside with 2 convicts, yet be careful approximately sexes, as the two are truly territorial in pairs).

If you want to keep them, you better make them a small tank, and wait about half a year to grow enough to be safe from the old and big fish in the big tank.
