yeah i do.
and it's not a weakness, it's called being a real person. I'd hate to be so hard I didn't care any more.
but I try not to dwell on it and move on.

No, due to some tragedies a few years ago, I've become pretty cold, emotionally. Those closest to me understand, and have adapted.
How to overcome emotional bruising? I don't know, but if you start becoming cold, make sure it's what you want. My guess would be to start understanding that some of these "bruises" are from someone's opinionated statements. Re-emphasize to yourself that the other viewpoints that may cause bruising is just that-other viewpoints.

i'd love to agree with Charles, because i tend to do that. but i know it's not healthy.
i bruise really easily emotionally, and i always put up a strong front. but time to time, the emotions would resurface and get me really down. but i'd bounce back.
i guess to overcome this weakness is to really instill in your head that what won't kill you will make you stronger.
and to avoid what you know would hurt you.
and find things that you know you'll love. that way, you're too busy to care if someone's hurt you.

I bruise VERY easily. I overcome it by being destructive...usually towards the person who hurt me in the first place.

I guess stop dwelling on the past. I can't do it myself, I'm very good at dwelling on things. Maybe tell the person that hurt you how you feel, but most the time that won't help because the people who try to hurt other people's feelings don't care what they do (some people, on the other hand, don't realize when they have hurt your feelings, that is why it is good to tell the person who hurt you how you feel, because they probably don't even realize they hurt you). Well, I think that's long enough, sorry to talk your ears off. Good luck and God bless.

Yes I do and that is one of my weaknesses. It can be overcome by not taking things personally and by taking things with a grain of salt. Not everything is a personal attack and if it is, try not to take everything to heart. Be strong and don't let your emotions rule you. You rule them.

I bruise very easily. It's about trust for me. When you find someone you can trust - they won't bruise you.
