and if it s a good reason why the heck should he change his point of view?
Is this a conversation about morality? People only do things that benefit them - WHY????? would a feminist expect a man to change if the benefits were not clear to him??????????

I would love for women to be empowered and stop sucking off of society. I find that most if not all women use their sex to basically be parasites, leeches to be precise. They take advantage of our society's desire to "protect" and provide for them. It would be great to have all the solo mums and otehr deadbeat females off the welfare. I long for the day when women actually become equal. The our taxes would drop considerably.

Being empowered is one of the greatest achievements we can ever have, yet it is dangerous in the hands of fools. If so called man has a good reason for his point of view why would he want to change his point of view? Perhaps it was weak in the first place? People are always doing things that benefit them it gives them more power and or enhances the power they already have
Why would a feminist expect a man to change if the benefits were not clear to him? Would the answer be a full circle to your posting question? Yes, it gives her empowerment.

empowered to do what? Sew a fake set of nuts on you? Blow us up with C-4 for asking them out one too many times?

Why the hell do people feel empowered to ask questions without worrying whether or not they make any sense?

Sew some fake nuts made of C-4 to the lot of 'em. That would make sense.

Some would say it's because men like to retain that sense of control over the women in their lives. It goes back to when men were the patriarchs and women had to answer to them(first the father, then the husband, then the son). But I think that it can also be linked to fear of not appearing in control or being seen as less than a man. I guess he would have to need a really good reason for behaving in that fashion. It's one of those gray areas, where there's no right or wrong answer. But any woman who cannot stand up for herself, places herself in that type of situation.

Some men are intimidated by strong women and therefore try to keep them in the kitchen, "barefoot and pregnant" so to speak. These men have a problem with self esteem and almost have a bully mentality towards women because they feel they are weaker. The benefit for the men is that it makes them feel more manly and in control. Obviously these men have problems with their manhood if they are trying to keep their women down. Women are strong and should feel empowered by their partners to achieve anything they want.

It is only the humilation of women rather then men's deal. Everybody become empowered himself/herself because of his/her deal.

Because he's afraid of losing the power he would otherwise exert over her. He isn't strong enough to deal with change.

vanhammer: "Women are strong and should feel empowered by their partners to achieve anything they want."

Your statement above contradicts itself. A person is strong to the extent that they can achieve independently of a lack of empowerment from others. Anyone who waits for empowerment or encouragement from others is mentally weak. Telling them that they are strong is shackling them with a delusion.

But thanks for your input.

"Women are strong and should feel empowered by their partners to achieve anything they want."

How about this?

"Men are strong and should feel empowered by their partners to achieve anything they want."

Does that sound as good to you?
