Yikes! Are you sure it is BV? The standard of care for bacterial vaginosis is metronidazole or Flagyl. This antibiotic is available world wide and you should be able to get it prescribed. If you are having difficulties, contact your insurance company and tell them the situation. They often have troubleshooting for needing medical attention while abroad. They may even have a way of contacting a clinic before you arrive for evaluation. Do not use any non-conventional means of eradicating the infection (douching with coca cola, yogurt, etc.) until your wife has been evaluated for appropriate treatment. Good luck!

Call a doctor in the states and ask them to prescribe a medicine for BV. Get the name of the medicine and tell the doctors in china. Ask them for two or three pres. Take ALL medicine. If you know for sure it is BV. Next, there are several things that she can do to solve the problem. First, it may help if she throws away all her old underwear. Buy new cotton underwear. She may also want to refrain from using harsh soaps, detergents, and etc. Some people find that a change in the diet is helpful. Also, refrain from oral for awhile. She needs to give her body a rest. Take vitamins and chill on the stress. BV usually comes back a couple of times.

Her PH , vaginally, is out of balance. Taking acidophiles pills, and eating yeast, and even using plain live culture yeast vaginally will help to get the ph balance corrected.

Antibiotics, kill the healthy and unhealthy bacteria in our bodies. So women usually should avoid anti biotics if they
can.

This should be something she can do even in China, to improve the problem. Good Luck
