can there be any harm to the unborn baby when a mother uses a facial fade cream that contains 2% hydroquinone during pregnancy?

That is a very low percentage of the ingredient. As long as you dont do it often (the key is moderation for EVERYTHING in pregnancy) you and baby should be fine. If your concerned call your dr.
