Yep it sounds very much like you are going into spontaneous labour. At this far gone i would doubt if it was just Braxton Hicks contractions. Your labour pains will increase as your contractions become closer together and more regular.

Good luck

It definitely sounds like you are working up to labour. I had a practice labour for a couple of days with my first. It can come and go but once it gets going properly it won't stop! Good Luck, and I hope you do it naturally if that is what you want, it is the most amazing thing in the world! Whatever happens you will have your baby real soon xx

it is your body getting ready for birth, commonly called braxton hicks contractions, its a sort of practice for labor. but yes when ur belly tightens at the top that is a contraction, i wouldnt worry unless your water breaks u will have plenty of time to get there. Oh and trust me if u were in labor u would know, u definatly would not feel like sitting at the computer lol!!

Yes, it can come and go! Sounds like you're working up to labor... and might escape that c-section!!!!

My last was born vaginally at home, at 41 weeks, 2 days.

contractions can start out irregular , with my second they lasted 3 days with irregular contractions and my 3rd was like u said had like 2 contractions in a hour i had called DR and asked if false contraction can feel like real and she they can but to walk around for an hour to see if they get stronger and become closer and more regular and if they do become stronger and regular that it was real ..i only had to walk for ten minutes and then i was rushed to hopsital so be careful it can start out spaced out then hit you like nothing and be time
