The flag of the United States of America. We have been a democratic country since 1776, and our flag is our symbol. Yes I know we are a republic, but we are a democratic republic.

I suppose you are speaking of the U.S., Democratic?, no,...The U.S. is a "Republic-Democracy"
no symbols required......Votes are cast democratically and the people chose the Government, then the elected "Republic Government" governs "as it sees fit". A Country under a Democracy would cast votes for government leaders and then "govern those leaders".

We are a democratic republic, which means the people elect representatives to a national congress, so I think a good symbol woould be a polling booth.

look to the right of my answer...there you will see thumbs up and down...democracy at it's finest...there is your symbol...democracy sure has a way of not caring about an individuals rights or feelings...it only knows how to be judgmental...
