the only time it is important to me now is if i am checking IDs at a bar and i catch someone with a fake ID. otherwise, it's just a number. Satchel Paige supposedly asked, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?"

It's important, depending on the situation. Ages and stages are always important, you can deny it all you want but for the majority, you need to be in sync with the ones you're closest with, or it won't work out...1-10 years is not such a big deal, but beyond that...disaster.

It is important, because of the difference between ideas, way of thinking, how they see life, what does they want, according to their age. While a woman at 20 wants to still have some fun, a man at 30 wants to have kids!Got de point?

in matters of legality it has importance....otherwise its just a number....I know 20 year olds who are more 'with it' and smarter than some 30 year olds ect.... so there you have it ...age doesn't necessarily mean you are smart or that you have your priorities straight...... but,no matter what age you are, its always good to remember to let that inner child out to play every so often. If you don't, you risk becoming a old shriveled up grouch!...lol

Age seems to be important when it's restricting you from doing things, other than that, it's just a number.

Yes age is important, you can tell a lot from age, you can judge the intellighence and the way they think, also you can compare it to people that you know!

it ain't important but i prefer guys my age and as for Lady's,it doesn't matter because there always someone else i can turn to for help and vice-versa.-girl talk

it's nothing but a number. Im 22 and my husband is 20 yet i look like im 16 and he looks like he's 22...so to me...it's just a number

It is something to at least think about. If you are say 450 and are with a 20 year old. You end with you at 80 and he/she at 60 taking care of you. You leaving them early in their life alone. Something to think about.
