When you turn on your computer keep hitting the f8 button. Then choose "Start Windows in Safe Mode"
Then when windows starts right-click the desktop and click properties. You need to change the resolution to 600X800 probably. Mess around with that untiil you find a setting you like.

Hi,
Are the fonts on your desktop small or only in IE? If its small in internet explorer, the guys answering above have solved your problem. But if you are talking about small fonts on your desktop, here is what you can try:
1. Right click on an empty space on your desktop, click properties, and click on the appearences tab. In the "font size" dropdown list, select "large fonts". Worked? If NO ,then see next point.
2. You probably were using lower screen resolution. In the same dialog that you are in now, click the "settings" tab. Lower the resolution from 1024x768 to 800X600. Worked?

If it is on explorer then go to View menu and change text size
or more likely....
Right click with mouse on the bare desktop (no windows open) and with the appearing drop down menu select Properties. Click on the Settings tab and change the screen resolution to a lower setting by using the slide bar until you get your desired setting.

You can move the icon bar which is usually at the bottom back to the bottom simply by putting the mouse cursor in the bar and dragging it over and down. (It can be put across and on top also, for other people.)

If this occurs in internet explorer - hold down the 'ctrl' button on the keyboard and scroll your mouse roller - this should make the text bigger/smaller depending on which direction you scroll in
