It seems to me that the guys (regardless of their background and nationality) who major in maths and computer studies are shy and quiet.and they seem drawn to lively and outgoing girl.

Evidence: Friends and acquaintances :)

You have to be careful with stereotypes - although there may be some truth to them, the problem is that people naturally tend to see and notice the things that support their stereotypes, but overlook anything that contradicts them. Try actually doing a survey to explore the question and you may find out any or all of the following:
- that maths/computer guys are not predominantly shy and quiet
- that shy and quiet guys are not drawn preferentially to lively and outgoing girls, or
- that every type of guy is drawn to lively and outgoing girls, with no difference in preference between shy/quiet guys and outgoing/lively guys.
Or, you may find out that all of your observations really are accurate! The thing is, you won't actually know until you test your hypothesis.

I work in a building filled with physicists and believe me each person is unique in personality and preferences. Stereotypes that you listed are generally learned from TV and not real life. Someone's job preference has little or nothing to do with their personality.
